Rabbits 0.66 (demo)This is a simple (and free) RPG that I created as a sort of a prototype. Rabbits only has limited art and music resources. Read the storyline if you like. Or download the current demo. There will still be some improvements to this game, but it is undecided exactly what the scope of this improvements will be. Although Rabbits includes a map editor, it's undocumented. You can modify the game's maps, but there's no way to create your own scenarios. The map editor was only created for Rabbits, but it may be of some small use to someone. |
These game ideas have been postponed indefinetly. The Independent Game Programmer Game might actually be worked on one day, but the other will probably remain vaporware forever.
Independent Game Programmer GameIGPG is going to be a simple freeware game that allows you take the role of an independent game programmer. The game will consist of choosing actions each week that will (eventually) result in a finished game. Of course, the games produced consist only of a name, genre, and rating, but that's why the game is easier than real life! You can view the current design document. |
DeitiesAfter Elathym Rpg, I plan to program a strategy game called Deities. It will be much like the Civilization series of games except that many features will be removed to make combat a more prominent part of the game. This should result in much more fast-paced gameplay. A rough draft of the system is described here. One major problem I would like to resolve is to reduce the sheer number of cities in a map. I'm considering using smaller maps, and I'm considering giving cities a much larger radius. I'm even thinking about replacing cities with nomadic wanderers. |
