Description: A swindler is someone who lives to outwit other characters. They con people out of money, trick their enemies, and convince people to do things that are against their own best interests.
Swindlers are often negotiators since they are adept at achieving the best deal possible (particularly when that deal benefits them).
Swindlers must either ply their trade in a large city or wander from place to place. If they stay in one small area, it's only a matter of time before the authorities catch up with them.
Combat Technique: swindlers avoid melee combat, but don't mind ranged combat. They would much rather be out doing something sneaky though. For instance, they would rather bribe some of the enemies than fight them.
Preferred Skills: Fast talking. Magical persuasion can be useful as well. Swindlers who operate among the nobility or the rich require skill with etiquette. Some swindlers use stealth skills to acquire information about their targets.
Benefit: None.
Disadvantage: A swindler's former victims may seek revenge.
