Description: A squire is a young warrior-in-training who follows around a Knight or Rogue Knight to assist him with menial labor. A squire's tasks typically include things such as polishing armor, sharpening weapons, and caring for horses. Much like the today's minimum wage employees, squires get all the worst jobs (e.g. shoveling manure).
Most squires are required to do some light combat too. This is important because the main reason to be a squire is to train to become a knight.
Other squires may be "career" squires who never have any intention of being trained as knights.
Combat Technique: Squires generally just attack whoever's closest. Since they serve Knights, they're far less likely to retreat than other low-level fighters. If the knight they serve is killed or retreats, there's a strong possibility that the squire will retreat immediately.
Preferred Skills: A warrior-in-training squire may have any skill a Knight has, but the squire won't be as skilled with it. Any squire must be skilled in maintaining equipment and tending to horses.
Benefit: The squire gains more experience by embarking on high-risk missions with the knight commanding her. High-risk missions would normally be fatal for the low-level squire, but the high-level knight makes them feasible.
Disadvantage: A squire has to follow around the knight she's a squire for and follow orders.
