Description: Scouts know the wilderness like a regular person knows the city they live in. They are often used as explorers. Military organizations uses scouts to track the movements of enemy troops. Scouts may be used by travelers or by any organization that needs to do some work in the wilderness.
Scouts typically work alone, meaning that they must be rugged individualists.
Combat Technique: Scouts are generally better off running from their opponents because they can only be lightly armored. Even so, they can fight as necessary.
Preferred Skills: Survival skills. Tracking is also useful.
Benefit: Scouts gain bonuses when hiding in shadows and moving silently in the wilderness. They also have an increased chanced of surprising enemies in the wilderness.
Disadvantage: Scouts are uncomfortable in urban settings and may suffer penalties to skills they would normally only use in the wilderness.
