Description: Normally, theft is a profession for those who have no other except choice starvation (or, at best, poverty). A recreational thief steals simply for amusement. In most cases, he's seeking "the perfect crime". He selects crimes for their challenge and aesthetic value, not for wealth.
A recreational thief would scoff at robbing a drunk even if the drunk were carrying sacks full of gold. Rather, he would go to great lengths and create an elaborate plot to steal the crown jewels, even if he has no way to sell them. The purpose of the theft would not be the value of the items stolen, but rather just because it would stir up public interest, especially if the crime went unsolved indefinetly.
Generally, recreational thieves come from a wealthy background. They're stealing for fun, not for survival.
Combat Technique: Usually none. Recreational thieves are thieves, not fighters.
Preferred Skills: Although stealth skills are useful, they may also have a number of etiquette and persuasion skills. Many recreational thieves could be similar to Conniver in many respects.
