Description:A messiah is sort of the ultimate hero. She's something like a Peasant Hero with super powers. A messiah's purpose is to save a large group of people (e.g. a kingdom, a planet) from some horrendous doom.
Messiahs usually receive some kind of benefits from one or more god-like beings. Many have some kind of religious significance, and some are actually worshipped as gods.
Combat Technique:Any.
Preferred Skills:Any.
Benefit:Many messiahs can count on the assistance of the people their rescuing, but this isn't always the case.
Disadvantage:It's not easy when the weight of the world is resting on your shoulders.
Fictional Examples:Jesus Christ (Christian Bible), Paul Atreides (Dune)
Real World Examples:Appropriate For:Usually players, but ally and npc messiahs are also possible. False Messiahs are villains.
