The classic example is Robin Hood, but freedom fighters abound in games, literature, and movies.

Freedom fighters are the good version of Outlaws.

Combat Technique: Guerilla warfare, much like an Amazon.

Preferred Skills: Combat and leadership skills are essential, though it would be possible to have a wizard freedom fighter without combat skills.

Benefit: Sometimes, they're able to gather public support as if they were Peasant Heroes.

Disadvantage: The more successful the freedom fighter is, the more the government goes after her. And the government always seems to have more resources. If nothing else, it'll just raise taxes and hire mercenaries.
