Description: Dungeon explorers are the prototypical dungeon-exploring thieves. They can fight, find and disarm traps, and pick locks. Other stealth skills are useful as well, but those three skills are essential.
Dungeon explorers are essential for any dungeon adventure, but you generally don't need more one than.
Although dungeon explorers have the same skills as thieves, they don't usually consider themselves to be thieves. "Treasure seeker" is a common job title for a dungeon explorer. Dungeon explorers are generally more reliable than thieves - they're professionals who do a job, not people who have to steal.
Combat Technique: Most dungeon explorers are not primarily fighters, so they typically are skilled with ranged weapons and/or stealth attacks. Some dungeon explorers are more combat-oriented.
Preferred Skills: Combat skills, finding/disarming traps, and picking locks. Other stealth skills are also useful.
Benefit: Acrobats may have an improved ability to dodge attacks.
Disadvantage: Many acrobats and other performers have a reputation for larceny, which may cause some people to react negatively.
Fictional Examples: Your character in any dungeon-delving computer RPG.
Real World Examples:
Appropriate For: Anyone, but usually not villains.
