Description:A detective is someone who solves crimes and tracks down criminals. Most detectives are affiliated with a local police force, but some are freelance (or even Vigilantes). Detectives must intimately know about the skills of criminals so that they can combat them.
Detectives are usually enemies of thieves' guilds, but there may be instances where a guild employs a freelance detective to solve some kind of problem. In such cases, the guild may use a "front" business that disguises the fact that it's a criminal organization.

Preferred Skills:Alertness, appraising, disguise, fast talking, heraldry, information gathering, intimidation, languages, local history, observation, persuasion, reading lips, and religion.
Benefit:Detectives who work with the local police force may have a certain amount of protection.
Disadvantage:Detectives may make many enemies when they disrupt the plot of a vast criminal organization.
