Description: Cutpurses are thieves who pick pockets or cut purses to acquire small amounts of money. Shoplifters also fall into this category.

Cutpurses usually are not members of a thieves' guild and usually make only enough income to subsist at a meager level. Some cutpurses may merely do this to supplement their income.

Sometimes groups of cutpurses work together with one or more cutpurses distracting someone and the other performing the actual robbery.
