Description: A crypt guard is someone who protects a particular crypt, tomb, mass grave, cemetary, or catacomb. Their purpose is to prevent people from looting or stealing bodies for whatever reason (e.g. creating undead, medical experiments, necrophilia).
A crypt guard knows every inch of the are he guards. If he guards a tomb, he knows every pitfall and monster. If he guards a cemetary, he knows every grave and every fold in the earth.
A crypt guard might just scare off some nosy kids, but she has to be ready to fight off serious threats.
Note that a crypt guard (as used in this description) is an actual person who applies for a job to guard a crypt. Undead and other monsters who might be guarding a crypt aren't official crypt guards.
Crypt guards will often refrain from eliminating monsters who don't harm the gravesites because they are effectively additional protection for the site.
Combat Technique: Since crypts usually have relatively few guards, crypt guards will usually use some kind of stealth technique to fight larger groups.
Preferred Skills: Combat skills appropriate to the area. The ability to fight in the dark is useful because crypt guards are typically either underground or working at night.
Benefit: A society that contains crypt guards generally has a great respect for the dead, usually based in religion. Crypt guards will be respected as well.
Disadvantage: Crypt guards live a solitary life since there's not going to be alot of people wandering around crypts. Also, they can expect fights for their lives whenever a serious band of looters arrives.
